Welcome to my site. I created this site to showcase my portfolio and my resume. In keeping with that purpose, I will concentrate on information about me as it applies to the workplace. After all, you don't care about that boring personal stuff anyway, right?

Note: I should mention that I am not currently looking for a new job, but I expect to restart my job search within a year or two.

Words to describe me: I am a perfectionist. I am detail-oriented. I am project-oriented, meaning I enjoy working on all aspects of a project and seeing it through to completion. I am quality-conscious. I am a technical person, as well as a designer. I have been told that I am a very precise person.

I grew up in Iowa. I graduated from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, with a Bachelor's Degree in Art.

After much travel and many varied experiences, I eventually was hired by Analysis & Technology, Inc., in New London, Connecticut. I worked there for 12 years in the Publications Department as a Technical Illustrator. As well as technical drawing, I also did cartooning and graphic design such as logos, brochures, business cards, and newsletters.

While working at A&T, I began work on my Master's Degree. I graduated from University of New Haven in West Haven, Connecticut, with a Master's in Computer Science.

I am presently employed by Raytheon. Raytheon holds the contract to provide technical services support to the Submarine On Board Training office at the U.S. Naval Submarine Base in Groton, Connecticut.
